WampServer is a windows web dvelopment environment. WampServer installs Apache, MySql and PHP5 on your windows system and comes with a service manager as a tray icon. It allows an easy managing of server creation for web application with Apache2, PHP and MySql databases.
WampServer is an easy to use software with high functioning.
It includes
♦ managing of your Apache and MySql services.
♦ switching between online or offline mode, which gives access to everyone or just the local host.
♦ Install and switches between different releases of Apache, MySql and PHP.
♦ Managing of your server settings.
♦ Accessing your logs.
♦ Creating alias.
You can install other releases by downloading them from their site. They will then appear in the WampServer menu and you will be able to switch between them.
Using WampServer
♦ The "www" directory is created automatically.
♦ Create a sub directory in the "www" directory and put your PHP files there.
♦ Click on the localhost link in the WampServer menu and you are done.

It is available for 32/64 bits along with different versions of the Apache, MySql and PHP.
The add-ons are also available to download for Apache, PHP and MySql. Download and install them then activate the versions through the tray menu. The tray icon will turn green and you are done.
